Chemistry: Epoxy
EH – 100% solids epoxy based pigment dispersion
Pigment dispersion based on 100% solids epoxy resin with an epoxide equivalent weight of 190-208. EH can be used to color the “A” side of two component epoxy adhesives. Most colors are of pourable viscosity and are specifically formulated to protect against viscosity build for improved shelf life. For “B” side colorants we recommend our RN, VC, and VPU product lines. This is also used to color 100% solids and solvent-based floor finishes, industrial paints, and protective coatings. These products are designed to minimize flood and float in a variety of coatings formulations. EH is also the product of choice for liquid cast epoxy parts, thermoset composites, and pultrusion. A full range of shades is available, including custom matched colors.
EHC – 100% solids low viscosity epoxy based pigment dispersion
Low viscosity pigment dispersion based on epoxy resin with an epoxide equivalent weight of 190-208 and a reactive diluent. With viscosities lower than our EH series, this product line is designed for easy introduction into epoxy based adhesives, solvent-based floor finishes, industrial paints, protective coatings, liquid cast epoxy parts, thermoset composites, and pultrusion. EHC is used to color the “A” side of two component epoxy adhesives. For “B” side colorants we recommend our RN, VC, and VPU product lines. A full range of shades is available, including custom matched colors.
Chemistry: Plasticizer
VAH – Phthalate-free plasticizer based pigment dispersion
A 100% solids phthalate-free plasticizer based pigment dispersion. This low viscosity product line is designed for easy introduction into solvent-based, moisture cure, and two component adhesive and caulk systems, and low-cost industrial and architectural coatings. Since VAH is non-reactive it can be used to color both the “A” and “B” side of two component systems.
VC – Phthalate plasticizer based pigment dispersion
A 100% solids pigment dispersion based on dipropylheptyl phthalate (DPHP) as the primary plasticizer. This low viscosity product line is designed for easy introduction into solvent-based, moisture cure, and two component adhesive and caulk systems. Since VC is non-reactive, it can be used to color both the “A” and “B” side of two component systems. This non-reactive, low viscosity product line finds use in urethane and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) based coatings, plastisol coated fabrics and calendered films. Current customers also use the VC series pigment dispersions for dip molding, cast urethanes and other flexible PVC compounds. A full range of shades is available, including custom matched colors. For non-phthalate applications we recommend our VPU or VAH product lines.
VPU – Phthalate-compliant plasticizer based pigment dispersion
A 100% solids pigment dispersion based on phthalate-compliant dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) plasticizer. This low viscosity product line is designed for easy introduction into solvent-based, moisture cure, and two component adhesive and caulk systems. Current customers also use the VPU series pigment dispersions for plastisol coated fabrics, calendered films, dip molding, cast urethanes and other flexible PVC compounds where phthalate compliance is necessary. Since VPU is non-reactive, it can be used to color both the “A” and “B” side of two component systems.
CHEMISTRY: pOLYASPARTIC
ENH – amine-based pigment dispersions for polyaspartic coatings
Aminofunctional pigment dispersion for reactivity with polyisocyanates in polyaspartic coatings. The base resin has an amine number of 201 mgKOH/g and equivalent weight 276. ENH has medium speed reactivity, and is suitable for combination with either fast or slow reactive amines. Most colors in this product line are of pourable viscosity and are 100% solids. A full range of shades is available, including custom matched colors.
Chemistry: Polyester
PC – Unsaturated polyester based pigment dispersion
A 100% solids unsaturated polyester based pigment dispersion compatible with a wide range of polymer chemistries. This product presents a low- or zero-VOC option to traditional solvent-based pigment dispersions. Current customers benefit from the PC pigment dispersions universally coloring gel coat, epoxy, urethane, and polyaspartic coatings. It is also compatible with resins used in molding processes: SMC, BMC, pultrusion, filament winding, cultured marble and other FRP. A full range of shades is available, including custom matched colors.
PCV – UV protected pigment dispersion
A UV protected pigment dispersion compatible with polyester and vinyl ester molding resins. Our PCV line is formulated with pigments and additives not only to be weather resistant themselves, but to protect the total molding compound from weathering for long-lasting exterior-grade composite parts. A full range of shades is available using organic and inorganic pigments, including custom matched colors.
